The grading system is standardized across Pakistan, though total marks may vary slightly by board. Most boards conduct exams for SSC-I (9th grade) and SSC-II (10th grade), combining both for the final result.
The percentage is calculated as: Percentage = (Total Marks Obtained / Total Marks) x 100

If you are not satisfied with your result, Pakistani boards offer:
33% is the minimum passing percentage. For a 1100-mark exam, this means you need at least 363 marks. In each subject, typically 33% of that subject's marks are needed to pass.
Yes! 880/1100 = 80%, which qualifies for A+. You need at least 880 out of 1100 (or 840 out of 1050) for A+.
For top engineering universities like NUST and UET, aim for 85%+ in Matric. However, since Matric only contributes 10% to the aggregate, your FSc and entry test scores matter more.
Pakistani boards typically announce results 2-3 months after the exams. The Lahore Board, Rawalpindi Board, and other Punjab boards usually announce in July-August for annual exams.
For CSS (Central Superior Services), Matric marks are not directly part of eligibility. You need a bachelor's degree. However, maintaining a strong academic record throughout helps in overall merit.
